Brooke’s Blossoms: Support Children’s Cancer Care – join us during booth hours to giving back
Giving back to the world around us has always been a part of who we are. Part of our philanthropic contribution to improving healthcare is through a focus on accelerating pediatric cancer treatment. We hope you can take part in our philanthropic contribution to Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation.
Through serving our healthcare customers worldwide, we learn about medical trends and needs — such as the void of new technology solutions that aid in development of innovative children’s cancer treatments. In 2011, while working closely with TGen one of our healthcare customers, we started on a journey to create innovative children’s cancer treatments focused on cures for neuroblastoma, one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancers. Watch video to learn more.
By using high performance computing and secure cloud technology we have been able to give TGen and a group of pediatric oncologists the ability to more quickly share genomic testing results and treatment insights, helping improve care for these courageous children and their families.
Join us in the Dell EMC booth (#3161) as we assemble hand-crafted headwear for children battling cancer. We will donate the completed headwear to Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Booth 3161 Healthcare Consumerism: Who holds the power?
Meet up with moderator @TechGuy (John Lynn), @EMRAnswers (Linda Stotsky), @jameyedwards (Jamey Edwards), @gnayyar (Geeta Nayyar, MD, MBA), @JenniferGirka (Jennifer Girka) and others. This session will explore the debate in the healthcare industry over who will have the final say: top-down influencers or empowered consumers. There is no denying that patients are taking a more active role in their own care. In fact, a recent survey by United Healthcare shows a 230% increase since 2012 in the number of Americans who comparison shop for health services. What many in the medical community are claiming, however, is that patient choice will not permeate the majority of healthcare.

Booth 3161 Digital Transformation: What does this really mean to the healthcare industry?
Meet up with moderator @TechGuy (John Lynn), @EMRAnswers (Linda Stotsky), @HealthData4All (Michael Joseph, PMP), @JenniferGirka (Jennifer Girka), @DanTrottDell (Dan Trott) and others. Some are calling the phrase ‘digital transformation’ hype and overused marketing jargon. But is it? While the phrase has been used in several loose contexts, we plan to come together to discuss how we can pursue authentic collaboration that transforms care delivery. We’ll discuss what this phrase really means to the healthcare industry, to your organization, and to the patients you serve. We’ll have a look back over the past decade to understand the dramatic changes that technology and the new information generation has had on reshaping care delivery, population health and patient engagement.
