Brooke’s Blossoms:  Support Children’s Cancer Care – join us during booth hours to giving back

Giving back to the world around us has always been a part of who we are.  Part of our philanthropic contribution to improving healthcare is through a focus on accelerating pediatric cancer treatment.  We hope you can take part in our philanthropic contribution to Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Through serving our healthcare customers worldwide, we learn about medical trends and needs – such as the void of new technology solutions that aid in development of innovative children’s cancer treatments.  A few years ago, while working closely with TGen – one of our customers – we started on a journey to create innovative children’s cancer treatments focused on cures for neuroblastoma, one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancers. Learn more.

By using high performance computing and secure cloud technology, we have been able to give TGen and a group of pediatric oncologists the ability to more quickly share genomic testing results and treatment insights, helping improve care for these courageous children and their families.

Please join us in the Dell EMC booth (3159) as we assemble hand-crafted headwear for children battling cancer.  We will donate the completed headwear to Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Topic: Living in a Multi-Cloud World: How do you control the data sprawl - from acquisition to action?

Healthcare organizations are working to deploy private and public clouds as part of their digital transformation. Today, cloud can be an enabler of collaborative care and research – but what are best practices to provide access and build connections between your public, private, hybrid- and/or multi-cloud solutions while addressing data security and regulatory challenges? How do you manage and control the adoption of healthcare cloud platforms and services to minimize cloud sprawl and cloud silos – which can add cost and interoperability challenges?

Wednesday, Feb 13th | 10:00 am

Topic: The Promise of Healthcare IoT: Is IoT generating a lot of noise or actual value in healthcare today?

Healthcare IoT data is growing exponentially – whether it’s coming from health sensors, robotic surgical equipment, smart hospital beds, video surveillance systems, medical implants, wearables – you name it! These interconnected devices touch almost every aspect of the patient care continuum, but where are you really seeing value? What can you do to systematically collect, manage, secure and analyze this IoT-generated data deluge to improve patient care delivery? Plus, what’s the right approach to managing all these IoT devices.
