Brooke’s Blossoms:  Support Children’s Cancer Care – join us during booth hours to giving back

Giving back to the world around us has always been a part of who we are.  Part of our philanthropic contribution to improving healthcare is through a focus on accelerating pediatric cancer treatment.  We hope you can take part in our philanthropic contribution to Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Through serving our healthcare customers worldwide, we learn about medical trends and needs – such as the void of new technology solutions that aid in development of innovative children’s cancer treatments.  A few years ago, while working closely with TGen – one of our customers – we started on a journey to create innovative children’s cancer treatments focused on cures for neuroblastoma, one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancers. Learn more.

By using high performance computing and secure cloud technology, we have been able to give TGen and a group of pediatric oncologists the ability to more quickly share genomic testing results and treatment insights, helping improve care for these courageous children and their families.

Please join us in the Dell EMC booth (3613) as we assemble hand-crafted headwear for children battling cancer.  We will donate the completed headwear to Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation.

We invite you to participate in our tweet up sessions taking place in the Dell EMC booth (#3613) and offer your insights during the sessions as outlined below. Join John Lynn, (@techguy), Founder, HealthcareScene.com and Expo Health, as he moderates the discussions on hot topics in healthcare today. Meet HIMSS18 social media ambassadors and other key industry influencers in the booth as they contribute insights:

Topic: Data Hygiene in Healthcare: The First Step to Getting Value Out of Your Data

Digital transformation in healthcare. With digitization, comes automation. With automation comes more applications. With more applications, comes more data. ‘Dirty data’ might cost you more than you realize…especially when it’s stored in legacy applications that are not managed well. Join the discussion taking place in the Dell EMC booth #3613 to share your insights.

Topic: Data Innovation: Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare – it’s happening…

It’s no secret, the healthcare industry has an (over) abundance of data. There are lots of mergers/acquisitions and consolidations taking place in the industry which only complicates matters and intensifies the playing field. There is likely a ton of analysis that’s not currently being done that could potentially provide better insights and results for healthcare organizations---their doctors, researchers and patients. Now that we have the data, how do we make it useful? How can we deploy machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies into driving better results in a healthcare environment? How do you take the data and make it actionable? We invite you to join us in the Dell EMC booth #3613 to discuss this hot topic.
